What does the treatment involve?

Your treatment process begins with a detailed consultation. We assess your teeth to make sure you are suitable, ask about your smile goals, and create your bespoke treatment plan.

We take digital impressions so your brackets and wires can be custom-made to exactly fit your teeth. When ready, we bond the brackets to the front of your teeth using strong dental adhesive, and thread the thin wire through.

We see you for regular appointments throughout your treatment to check your progress and make small adjustments to your brace. At the end of your Six Month Smiles journey, we reveal your new smile and give you a retainer to maintain your results.
How does Six Month Smiles work?
Six Month Smiles focuses on the teeth that are most noticeable when you smile, often referred to as the ‘social 6’. This means the treatment takes less time to complete than other orthodontic systems, as it doesn’t affect your bite or full smile. The Six Month Smiles braces are created using tooth-coloured brackets and non-friction wires, with a lower level of pressure quickly and gently guiding your teeth to the desired positions.
