What does denture stabilisation treatment involve?
-
1
We explain the denture stabilisation procedure to you and may take digital x-rays to ensure you are suitable for dental implants. We also give you the chance to ask us any questions about the treatment.
-
2
Your dental implants are placed into your jaw during a short surgical appointment. We use local anaesthetic to minimise discomfort. Your implants need several months to heal and fuse with the surrounding bone in your jaw.

3
When your dental implants are fully healed, we use special fixtures to place your dentures on top. They can still be removed for cleaning but stay put once in place. We give you some aftercare advice and leave you to enjoy your newly stable smile!

Different ways to stabilise dentures
There are a number of ways to stabilise dentures, and we are always happy to discuss the best one for you. By using a secure attachment to dental implants, they won’t slip, slide, or rub against your gums, improving your comfort and quality of life. Your dentures can be placed using locator attachments and two dental implants, or a fixed bar attachment and four dental implants. We can also use the All-on-4 technique with incredible results.

Denture stabilisation is a procedure that involves placing a small number of dental implants into your jawbone to create a secure, fixed base for a denture. This prevents the denture from moving around, slipping, or rubbing against your gums.
