Research carried out at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) found that baby teeth contain valuable stem cells that have the potential to turn into just about any type of cell.
The stem cells from baby teeth can actually be used to repair the damaged cells in the mouth. These stem cells are classified among the most powerful in the human body because they can proliferate much faster.
